LOGIC's Top 4 Highlights of 2019

2019 was a big year for the LOGIC team! We grew internally by 25%, launched 3 new listings on Esri’s ArcGIS Marketplace, celebrated our first anniversary of merging with Indigo Beam, and joined an industry movement toward open data sharing with the Open Subsurface Data Universe (OSDU) consortium. Plus, we maintained momentum with our existing client base, brought on a few new clients, and entered a new industry.

It has certainly been a year of growth and transformation! Below, we’ve recapped our highlights from 2019.

1 Year Anniversary of Joining Indigo Beam

August marked our 1st anniversary of merging with Indigo Beam, a move that has helped both organizations grow significantly as we expanded our client service offerings and increased project delivery infrastructure. We look forward to starting the new decade with our extended team of bright, dedicated colleagues.

Featured on Esri’s ArcGIS Marketplace

We were honored to be a featured partner on Esri’s ArcGIS Marketplace in October. In total, we now have 3 active listings on the Marketplace: FME Caller WidgetGIS Implementation Services, and Advance Save State Widget. It’s exciting to see the ArcGIS Marketplace take shape and get support from the local and national Esri teams, as well as everyday users.

GIS and Renewables – Plan to Power to Profit

In November, we published our Renewables: Plan to Power to Profit Project Strategy Guide. The guide applies our GIS experience with exploration and production teams in the oil and gas sector to renewables energy organizations building and supporting wind, solar, biofuel, and recycling projects.

The Next Generation of Data Sharing

In the spring of 2019, LOGIC became an active member of the Open Subsurface Data Universe™ (OSDU). The Open Subsurface Data Universe™ Forum is developing a standard data platform for the oil and gas industry, which will reduce silos and put data at the center of the subsurface community. LOGIC has contributed significant geospatial knowledge and context to initial developments and will continue to do so through 2020 and beyond.

2020 Outlook

We look forward to what 2020 will bring to both LOGIC and our clients. We foresee some exciting opportunities to collaborate on GIS integration, automation, and greater adoption of artificial intelligence. We are so grateful to enter this new decade with our great partners and clients and hope you share our enthusiasm for what the future holds.

Happy New Year!
